ABOUT:
A Los Angeles native, Nadia Ruiz is an educator, coach, and speaker aiming to make a change in her community by motivating and inspiring individuals of all backgrounds to achieve their goals. Nadia's fitness journey began when she stepped on the start line to her first marathon at the age of 14. Crossing the finish line with her father for the first time transformed her and she fell in love with the sport. Twenty-three years later, she has completed 148 marathons with 75 Boston Qualifiers, 100 half marathons, 16 full and half Ironmans, 16 ultra marathons, and several adventure races, frequently in the top of her age group or overall women. She has traveled the world to 27 countries exploring challenging events, cultures, and connecting with people around the world to reach over 500 lifetime races.

Graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor's in Biology, Master's in Education, and CA Biology Teacher's credential, she has taught, coached, and worked in event production for the past 15 years. In 2013, Nadia was named the Youngest Female to Run 100 Marathons. In 2020, racing, travel, and large events came to a stop; however, with three large pups, she continued to educate and inspire her online community as she recreates herself in an evolving industry. Nadia's goals are to continue to inspire her community and make an impact demonstrating we each have it within us to follow our biggest dreams through the setbacks, challenges, and triumphs.

FAVORITE PRODUCT:
My favorite product by far is the Triswim line. I train and am active on a daily basis not only for my sport, but also because movement gives me my happiness, therapy for the day. Training often means showering often, which can lead to dry skin and/or hair. Fortunately, I have been using Triswim along with Dermasport for a few years every time. I love how it has been able to maintain the health and shine of both my skin and hair, while leaving me with the fresh cleaning feel even after a pool or ocean training day.

Earliest Memory:
When my pre-school teacher asked me what do you want to be when you grow up? I said: A teacher and an artist. She said, what if you had to pick one. I said: no, I want to be and do it all. Now three decades later, I have lived to that young child’s dream of going after my dream. I teach, I coach, and I create – I am an artist and storyteller of my own life and the beautiful thing is everyone can be too.

Greatest Inspiration:
my parents, left everything, who came from nothing, to build something – a dream for their family.
